Plant Styling · Four Points & River Place, Austin TX
Four Points’ plant styling & care service.
Four Points is the 620 and 2222 junction and everything hanging off it — River Place, Grandview Hills, the Preserve, and Steiner Ranch just up the road. Hill Country views, big windows, and some of the best natural light in Austin to work with.
I’m Will Burke, an Austin native with 25+ years working with plants. I’m already out here every other week, so Four Points is one of the easiest places on my route to add. Every consult, delivery, and care visit is handled by me personally. Starting at $149/mo, with free replacements, always.
Full plant service, delivered to Four Points.
🌿 Plant styling
I come to your Four Points or River Place home, read your light and layout, and pick plants for the actual space. Delivery and styling included — same week. From $149/mo.
💧 Biweekly care visits
Every other week I water, check light, catch pests early, and swap anything struggling. Included in every plan.
✈️ Plant sitting
Out on the lake for the weekend, or gone for the season? I tend your plants and send photos after every visit. Custom quoted.
Local knowledge that actually matters.
Hillside homes built to face the view — which in practice means big west- and north-facing glass, tall ceilings, and rooms that get far more light in July than their owners planned for.
👤 Always me — never a stranger
Every visit in Four Points is handled by me. When you text Keep Austin Watered, you’re texting Will — not a call center.
🌱 Free replacements, always
Any plant I bring in that doesn’t thrive gets replaced free, for as long as I care for your space.
💧 I know which utility you’re on
Four Points is split between two water systems. Which one you’re on changes what I recommend — see below.

Two water systems, one lake.
Here’s something most people in Four Points don’t know about their own house: the neighborhood is split between two completely different water utilities, and your neighbors across 620 may not be on yours.
Steiner Ranch and the communities around it are served by Travis County WCID No. 17, which treats surface water off Lake Travis at its Mansfield and Eck plants. River Place, meanwhile, was annexed into Austin and moved off its old neighborhood MUD plant — it now drinks City of Austin water from Water Treatment Plant 4, the half-billion-dollar plant that opened at 620 and Bullick Hollow in 2014. WTP4 also draws from Lake Travis.
So: two utilities, two treatment operations, one lake. The practical upshot for your plants is that both are hard, chloraminated surface water in the same general range as the rest of Austin — you’ll get the same white mineral crust on the topsoil either way, and the same chlorine-sensitive root issues. Here’s how I manage Austin’s hard water. But the details differ enough that when someone tells me their plants started struggling after a move within Four Points, the utility is one of the first things I check.
The bigger factor out here is the light. These homes were built to look at the Hill Country, which means a lot of glass, often facing west. In January that’s a gift — you can grow things in a Four Points living room that would sulk anywhere else in the city. In July that same window is a heat lamp, and a plant that thrived through spring will scorch in three weeks. Getting the species right for the exposure, and knowing which ones need to move six feet back in summer, is most of what I do here. See plants for big windows and plants and Austin AC air.
I care for indoor plants throughout Four Points, River Place, and the Lake Travis area. If yours aren’t thriving, let me take a look — here’s how my residential plant care works.
Near Four Points: I bring the same service to Steiner Ranch, Lake Austin, Lakeway, Rob Roy, and Westlake Hills.
