Westlake Hills’s plant styling & care service.
Westlake Hills homes are large, the light conditions are unique — lots of south-facing glass and high ceilings — and the Eanes ISD community is tight-knit and word-of-mouth driven. These are the homes that belong in a magazine.
Will Burke is an Austin native with 25+ years working with plants. He personally handles every consultation, delivery, and care visit in Westlake Hills — not a crew, not a franchise. Starting at $149/mo with a free replacements, always.

Austin conditions expertise
Hard water (~290 mg/L for Austin proper, even harder for Hill Country Trinity Aquifer customers), AC humidity crashes, summer heat, February freezes — Will knows which plants thrive in Travis County and how to keep them that way year-round.

What indoor plants need in a Westlake Hills home
Westlake Hills is built into the steep hills just across the river from downtown, and over the last decade a huge share of its homes have been renovated or rebuilt into bright, modern showpieces — soaring windows, open volumes, and walls of glass catching the afternoon sun off the hills. Beautiful homes, and a specific challenge for houseplants.
That west- and south-facing glass pours in intense, hot light, while the AC needed to keep those big volumes comfortable wrings the humidity out of the air. The result is the classic modern-Austin combination: plants that scorch and crisp even though they are technically getting plenty of light. Matching the plant to that exact light, and supporting humidity where it counts, is most of the job. See choosing plants for big windows and plants and Austin AC air.
The water is the same hard, chloraminated Colorado River supply the rest of Austin runs on, so expect the mineral buildup I describe in my Austin hard water guide.
I look after plants in homes all over Westlake Hills and the Eanes area. If your gorgeous, light-filled house is somehow hard on plants, that is exactly the problem I solve — see how residential care works.
