Plant Styling · Wimberley, TX · Hill Country

Wimberley’s plant styling & care service.

Will Burke brings Austin-quality plant styling and ongoing houseplant care to Wimberley and the surrounding Hill Country. Hand-picked plants, delivery, biweekly care visits — starting at $149/mo.

Most plant services in Wimberley are national chains or Austin-based companies that treat the Hill Country as an afterthought. Will Burke is a local — an Austin native who’s spent years working in Hill Country and knows exactly what plants thrive here, what the water does to them, and what each season demands.

Houseplants in Wimberley: well water, river air, and Hill Country light

Wimberley sits where Cypress Creek runs down to the Blanco River, tucked into the limestone hills southwest of Austin. It is one of my favorite corners of the area, and it has a houseplant profile all its own — driven, more than anything, by the water.

Like most of this part of the Hill Country, the majority of Wimberley homes run on Trinity Aquifer well water. It is very hard and mineral-heavy, and the softeners almost everyone installs to tame it create the real hazard for indoor plants: sodium from the softening process accumulates in the soil and slowly poisons the roots. If you are on a well in Wimberley, this is the single most important thing to understand about keeping plants alive, and I lay it all out in my Hill Country well water guide.

Beyond the water, Wimberley homes run from old cedar cabins to bright modern builds, but they share the Hill Country basics: dry air, strong seasonal light, and the occasional hard freeze rolling down off the hills. A little planning around those makes all the difference. See how I prep plants for Hill Country freezes and the neighboring Dripping Springs plant notes, which share Wimberley’s well-water reality.

I bring indoor plant care out to Wimberley and the surrounding Hill Country. If your plants are struggling and you are on a well, let me take a look — here is how a residential visit works.
